Job Description: Surveying Intern

Apex Job Title: Intern – Field

This role is for a Surveying Intern seeking to join a dynamic and growing firm, offering the opportunity to grow professional skills and contribute to diverse projects.

Your Responsibilities As a Surveying Intern:

Work alongside Survey Technicians, providing assistance in the overall land surveying process.
Perform various types of surveys including land, construction, and boundary surveys.
Complete basic field calculations specifically for AutoCAD purposes.
Plot points accurately within AutoCAD.
Assist the surveying department with other relevant and assigned tasks.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):

Education: Currently pursuing an Associate’s degree or higher in Survey Technology, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
GPA: A GPA of 3.0 or higher is encouraged.
Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a relevant field.
Skills:
Strong technical writing skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both field and management personnel.
Good record-keeping ability.
Requirements: Successful completion of a Drug/Alcohol screening and a background check are mandatory.
