Job Description: Wells Fargo 2026 Technology Internship Program
This is an opportunity for undergraduate students to join the Wells Fargo Technology Internship Program as aspiring Engineers.
• Program Overview:
• The program offers a ten-week orientation and training to Wells Fargo and its Technology groups.
• Interns gain hands-on experience through relevant work assignments, real-world training, group projects, and opportunities to refine communication skills.
• It provides exposure to key leaders and is designed to offer a blend of business and technical insights.
• Professional development is a core theme, including informative learning sessions, coaching, and networking opportunities.
• Upon successful completion, qualified candidates may be considered for a full-time position in the Technology Analyst Program the following year, within the same market where the internship was completed.
• Role Responsibilities (Software Engineer Intern):
Interns will be involved in various aspects of software engineering, which may include:
• Application Design & Development: Responsible for application design, development, testing, readiness, and integration, including developing enhancements, resolving bugs in existing applications, or creating new ones.
• Data Engineering: Creating and supporting reusable frameworks, data warehouses, and analytics environments, leveraging common design patterns across traditional and big data solutions.
• Data Integration: Contributing to data integration work, including developing data models, maintaining data warehouses and analytics environments, and writing scripts for data integration and analysis.
• Data Pipelines: Building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Technical Evolution: Accountable for the technical evolution of services, collaborating closely with enterprise architecture, product management, and partner teams.
• Agile Environment: Typically working within an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) setting.
• Typical Tech Stacks:
Interns may work with a variety of technologies, including:
• Languages & Frameworks: Java, .Net Core, UI Frameworks (ReactJS, Node.js, Angular JS, JQuery, Java Script), Spring Boot, API, Microservices.
• DevOps & Cloud: Harness, Cloud Technologies (OpenShift, Azure, Google).
• Data & AI/ML: Python, TensorFlow, NumPy, Pandas, MongoDB, MySQL, SQL, AI/ML tools.
• Version Control: GitHub.

• Program Duration: June 2026 – August 2026
• Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Desired Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other Technology STEM related majors.
• Expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027.
• Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience with: Java, Cloud technology, .NET, Python, SQL or related technical skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of algorithms, data structures, and developing APIs.
• Experience in software development shipping cycles (Development, Deploy, Release, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD)).
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI (Generative and/or Agentic), related tools and concepts (Prompt Engineering, Data Labeling, etc.).
• Prior engineering internship experience.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, including the ability to articulate challenges and recommend solutions.
• Proven ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a collaborative, change-driven atmosphere.
• Energetic self-starter who proactively takes initiative, acts with urgency, remains curious, and has a genuine interest in learning and growth.
• Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities through one or more of the following: volunteerism, student organization involvement, study abroad program(s), leadership position(s), non-profit involvement.
• Job Expectations:
• The position requires onsite presence at one of the specified locations, adhering to a hybrid work schedule.
• Candidates must take and pass a required technology skills assessment.

• Pay Range (Hourly):
• Charlotte, North Carolina: $48.08
• Dallas Market Area (Irving): $48.08
• Phoenix Market Area (Chandler, Phoenix): $48.08
• St. Louis, Missouri: $48.08
• Iselin, New Jersey: $60.10
• *Note:• The overall base pay range provided in the general compensation section is $18.00 – $65.00; however, the specific hourly rates for this internship are detailed above per location. Pay may vary based on factors like achievements, skills, and experience.
