Job Description (Detailed)
• Job Title: Web Operations Intern
• Department: Studio Strategy Operations, within the Growth Marketing and Digital Experience (GMDx) Team.
• Schedule: Part-time, requiring a commitment of 20 hours per week for a duration of 12 weeks.
• Location: Remote.

• Responsibilities: The Web Operations Intern will play a supportive role in key initiatives related to website maintenance, optimization, and the enhancement of digital properties within Ascension’s large-scale enterprise web ecosystem. This role involves:
• Assisting with updating content within Content Management Systems (CMS), such as Sitecore and other managed tools like Sprinklr and Google Console.
• Assisting in community management by responding to users/patients via social media using Sprinklr.
• Supporting web quality assurance (QA) testing for new features, templates, and pages.
• Helping maintain accurate and accessible web content, ensuring compliance with brand, style, and accessibility standards.
• Conducting keyword research and SEO optimization under the guidance of the National SEO team.
• Contributing to performance reporting by gathering web metrics and insights from tools such as Google Analytics and Amplitude.
• Developing documentation for content workflows and helping maintain team playbooks and process documentation.
• Participating in cross-functional team meetings and contributing ideas for improving digital experience and operations.
• Ideal Candidate Profile: This position is designed for a student interested in digital strategy, web content management, SEO, social media marketing, and marketing technology tools. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, possess strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, and be proficient with Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive). The role offers hands-on experience working across a large-scale enterprise web ecosystem and collaboration with various digital teams.

• High school diploma equivalency OR
• Enrolled in an accredited program specific to the discipline.
• Additional Preferences:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Digital, Marketing, Information Science, UX, Computer Science, or related areas.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS basics), content management systems, or web analytics platforms is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to present thoughts clearly and professionally.
• Ability to rapidly respond to requests and an interest in learning new tools and technologies.
• A desire to learn in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments.
• A collaborative attitude and ability to integrate with a diverse team.
• Previous experience in healthcare or an interest in the field is a plus.
