Job Description: Project Developer Intern

This Project Developer Intern position is a junior-level role designed to support ENGIE’s Distributed Solar and Storage (DSS) business in the United States. The intern will play a crucial role in advancing the company’s renewable energy aspirations and growth strategy within North America.

What You Can Expect (Key Responsibilities):

As a Project Developer Intern, you will actively support the team in the site origination and development of distributed solar and solar + storage projects. Your responsibilities will involve managing various tasks across different phases of project development, including:

Land Acquisition Support: Assisting with the processes involved in securing land for projects.
Permitting Support: Contributing to the necessary permitting procedures.
Environmental Review Support: Aiding in environmental assessments and compliance.
Pre-Construction Support: Providing assistance during the initial phases leading up to construction.
Project Development Support: General assistance with other aspects of solar energy and storage project development.
Presentation Preparation: Preparing and supporting the creation of presentations for project/market reviews for both DSS level and Global level management committees.
Tool and Tracker Development: Supporting the development of new tools and trackers designed to manage development progress and data efficiently.
Workflow Management Support: Assisting developers in managing their workflow by maintaining thorough meeting logs and action items.

What You’ll Bring (Required Qualifications):

To be considered for this internship, candidates should possess the following:

Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Engineering, or closely related fields. Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester.
Knowledge: A general understanding of renewable energy market trends.

Additional Details:

Work Policy: This role is eligible for ENGIE’s hybrid work policy, offering flexibility between in-office and remote work.
Compliance: The intern must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies.
Experience Level: Junior (experience < 3 years). Compensation:

Hourly Range: The average expected pay range for a qualified candidate is $22.00-$27.50 USD hourly.
Salary Determinants: The actual offered salary may vary based on several bona fide factors, including but not limited to geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, and internal pay alignment.
