Job Description

Job Summary
Danfoss is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to transform customer complaints and warranty data into actionable reports that support business decisions. The role involves comprehensive data management, from cleaning and analysis to building interactive dashboards and developing predictive models. This position directly supports continuous improvement initiatives within the company.

Responsibilities
• Clean, transform, and analyze data files utilizing Microsoft Excel, including advanced features such as pivot tables, Power Query, Scripts, Macros, and complex formulas.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards designed to track customer complaints and key quality performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct research, development, and exploration of hidden patterns within large datasets through in-depth analysis.
• Develop algorithms and predictive models, alongside validating these models and measuring their performance.
• Provide support for continuous improvement initiatives, with the goal of reducing line and field failures and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Required:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate and the broader Office Suite.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI for visual storytelling and the creation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Excellent skills in Excel, particularly for data modeling and transformation tasks.
• Possession of an analytical mindset coupled with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with machine learning tools, including but not limited to Python, R, or various Machine Learning platforms.

Preferred:
• Experience working with large datasets and databases.
• Experience in preparing reports for management, specifically highlighting trends, patterns, and predictions derived from relevant data.
