Job Description: IT Automation Intern

Job Summary
As an IT Automation Intern at Panasonic North America, you will be an integral part of a core division team. Your primary role will be to support daily IT activities, provide essential technical assistance for data aggregation, reporting, and automation initiatives. This position involves significant collaboration with various internal teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency through automation.

Key Responsibilities
• Support daily activities and provide technical support for data aggregation, reporting, and automation within a core division team.
• Collaborate closely with leadership and team members to automate existing manual tasks.
• Create and update automation scripts and frameworks.
• Provide support to other automation professionals as needed.
• Conduct annual and biannual audits of user lists.
• Maintain a comprehensive list of bots, their scheduled run-times, and designated owners.
• Generate requests in the ServiceNow system for production publishing activities (e.g., UIPath system access, shared drive access).
• Maintain accurate Server Requirements documentation.
• Manage and update the price list for automation processes.
• Maintain documentation for changes to policies, user guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), and other relevant materials.
• Review Robotic Process Automation (RPA) demands and projects, escalating any past-due items.
• Monitor tasks and support tickets assigned to the RPA team, proactively seeking status updates if there is no activity within one week.
• Maintain demands, projects, tasks, and templates within the ServiceNow system.
• Manage and update the opportunity list.
• Perform UiPath software maintenance on production servers, which includes checking for and installing updates, strictly adhering to the IT change management process.
• Migrate old files from IBM Blueworks to Microsoft Teams.
• Organize and manage Microsoft Teams sites to ensure logical structure and consistent file naming conventions (e.g., PDD, SDD).
• Learn basic intelligent automation tasks within the UiPath platform.
• Assist in the development and implementation of various IT projects.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement innovative solutions.
• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
• Assist with content management for the Brainstorm software learning platform.
• Support content creation and announcements for Microsoft Viva Engage.
• Maintain content within Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
• Review new features and updates in Microsoft Teams Public Preview & Targeted Release for relevant content.

Qualifications

Required:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of intelligent automation tools.
• Basic understanding of fundamental IT principles and practices.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of business unit and Panasonic North America IT Management.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred:
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow.
