Joseph “Jack” H. Perdue Student of Architecture and Mathematics at the University of Notre Dame EXPERIENCE GFF Design, Dallas — Summer Architectural Intern June 2024 - July 2024 I worked with the Senior Design Team on several design development projects around Dallas. The Senior Design Team develops conceptual project ideas before they reach the final stages of design. I created several iterations of designs for the overall massing and cladding of a Condominium Tower in Uptown Dallas that navigated a complex program on a small site with a steeply sloped ground plane. I modeled designs for a lobby with a staircase that embraced and celebrated the sloping character of the site, massings of the garage podium that responded to the sloping grade of the site, and various proposals for a rooftop restaurant and lounge space. Together with the Civic Studio, I developed work on a new Substation for the Fort Worth Police Department, creating a 3-D topological model of the complex site based of off Engineering documents, analyzing the parti of the design, and developing proposed changes to the exterior and character of the building. I worked with a small team to create a design package for Lakeside Village on Lake Grapevine, developing a new masterplan proposal for the site. I also worked with a team for an entry submission to Dallas Bark & Build.
