Zone Associate | New York Life

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at New York Life, located in a hybrid capacity requiring 3 days per week in the office. New York Life is a leading financial services organization dedicated to providing financial security and peace of mind to families across all communities. This role is crucial for managing essential Zone functions related to agent contracting, agent retention, and recruiter finance programs, ensuring smooth operations and compliance for the General Offices.

• Mission: To support crucial Zone functions related to GO agent contracting, agent contract maintenance, and recruiter finance programs, including preliminary onboarding and agent retention.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, EPM/DMS/Marketer/Dashboard/Sales Central, NYLIFE contracting and reporting systems

What You’ll Actually Do
• Contracting & Onboarding: Handle the contracting and onboarding process and inquiries for various agent candidates, including those requiring red flag, pay equity, and declination reviews, and visa/work authorization matters.
• Agent Contract Maintenance: Review, report, and track activities for ongoing agent contract maintenance.
• Performance Reporting: Produce reports on General Office (GO) contracting trends, promotability, and GO driver performance to inform management.
• Regulatory Coordination: Coordinate with the Home Office regarding agent licensing issues, TEA rescission/exclusions, and agent terminations.
• Compliance Management: Manage TAS Auto-Term inquiries, ensure Retention Focus Office compliance, and oversee the Registered Rep termination process.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; entry-level career stage.
• Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience, along with experience using NYLIFE contracting and reporting systems.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bonus: Knowledge of GO/Zone operations, EPM/DMS/Marketer/Dashboard/Sales Central systems, and Hiring Guidelines and Production/Termination Standards (e.g., retention, recruiting, programs, GPA).
