Unpaid Remote Youth Civic Engagement & Activism Internship/Volunteer Opportunity
Join our mission-driven team of young people from across the United States to amplify youth civic engagement and participate in activism on a range of progressive/social justice issues. This flexible, unpaid remote internship or volunteer opportunity is open to passionate individuals committed to making a difference.

Key Curriculum & Responsibilities:
As part of our team, you will:
- Work on teams to participate in grassroots activism and advocacy on civic and social justice issues you care about.
- Conduct research to become better educated and aware about critical topics.
- Join and help with existing voter registration drives at your school.
- Initiate and perform your own voter registration efforts (peer-to-peer or drive, with school permission) if one doesn’t exist.
- Participate in civic actions and voter turnout projects.
- Perform targeted outreach, engage in advocacy and activism.
- Find and participate in volunteer opportunities collaboratively.
- Attend the TurnUp Speaker Series.
- Conduct civic and activism-related research and writing.
- Collaborate on a variety of tasks and meet virtually on a weekly basis.
- Develop your democratic competency and advocate for issues important to young people.
- Fight voter suppression and boost youth voter turnout in the United States.
