About Year Up United:
Year Up United is an intensive job training program designed for young adults. The program lasts one year or less and combines in-classroom skill development with internships and job placement services. Participants receive personalized coaching, mentorship, and an educational stipend. The program’s placement arm, YUPRO Placement, connects graduates with internships at leading organizations such as Microsoft, Accenture, Salesforce, and Seattle Children’s Hospital (among others) in the Seattle/Bellevue, Washington area.

Year Up United offers a comprehensive training program focused on developing both technical and professional skills. The program includes:
• In-depth classroom training: Classes cover a range of subjects including Application Development & Support, Banking, Business Fundamentals, Helpdesk/Desktop Support, Project Management Support, Quality Assurance, Data Analytics, and Cyber Security.
• Professional skills development: Participants gain valuable skills in business and communication, interviewing, networking, and resume building.
• Internship opportunities: The program provides access to internships at top companies in the Seattle/Bellevue area. Interns receive a weekly stipend of $525.
• Job placement support: Year Up United provides ongoing support and guidance to help graduates launch their careers, including assistance with job searching and placement.
• Post-graduation support: The program boasts a high success rate, with 75% of graduates employed or enrolled in postsecondary education within four months of completion. Employed graduates earn an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for Year Up United, applicants must:
• Be 18-29 years old.
• Be a high school graduate or GED recipient.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Be available Monday-Friday for the duration of the program.
• Be highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills.
• Not have obtained a Bachelor’s degree.
