What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordinate Global Safety Programs: Implement and manage all aspects of Amazon’s Global Safety Program across the site.
• Lead Audits and Investigations: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly safety audits, identify compliance issues and risks, and facilitate incident investigation processes.
• Deliver Safety Training: Provide engaging safety training to associates and team members, promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring adherence to safety tasks.
• Champion Associate Wellbeing: Serve as a trusted safety advisor and advocate, fostering a culture where safety is everyone’s priority through communication and coaching.
• Innovate Risk Mitigation: Conduct job hazard analyses, record safety incident information, and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures, including ergonomics, to management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a bachelor’s or master’s degree; all degree requirements must be met before the first day.
• Experience: None specified for years, early career role. Interest in, or previous experience in safety-related employment is preferred.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills, and demonstrated problem-solving ability.
• Bonus: Degree in a health and safety-related subject.
