Opportunity Description

South Seattle College is looking to hire a Workforce Program Support Intern (student position) in the Workforce Instruction Department.

Hourly Wage: $20.76/ hour.
Application Deadline: July 30th, 2025.

Position Summary

This position supports South Seattle Colleges department of Workforce Instruction. The Workforce Program Support Intern will support multiple facets of departmental logistical needs. This opportunity is intended to support the growth and development of individuals pursuing a career in Higher Education. Only currently enrolled students at South Seattle College, North Seattle College, or Seattle Central College should apply for this position.

Part-time: Maximum 19 hours per week, Monday through Friday, primarily 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Schedule: Hybrid schedule of both remote and on-site work.

What You Will Be Working On

In direct support of Program Specialist and Unit Administrator requests, specific duties include but are not limited to the following college processes:

• Tenure Candidate document tracking.
• Budget interpretation/analysis.
• Responding to department inquiries, coordinating and calendaring events.
• Transcribing meeting minutes.
