### The Intern Role

As an Intern in the Work & Rewards team, you will have the unique opportunity to work side-by-side with some of the industry’s top consultants. You will be involved in both real client assignments and special projects related to building intellectual capital and/or supporting sales and marketing campaigns.

This role offers immediate exposure to client-facing responsibilities, drawing on your imagination, creativity, and strong analytical skills to analyze data, draw conclusions, and present results. These experiences, coupled with structured training, will build your technical knowledge, overall industry expertise, and project/client management capabilities.

Project Scopes may include:
Rewards: Compensation benchmarking, base pay program design, job leveling/job architecture, annual and long-term incentive program design, pay equity studies, pay-for-performance analyses.
Career and Talent Management: Competency and skills framework development, performance management, organization, and function design.
Broad Cross-LOB Engagements: Support for Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) transactions, total rewards strategy, and optimization.

Some of your responsibilities may include:
Partnering with consultants and clients to ensure competitive reward programs through competitive benchmarking analyses.
Modeling pay structure design alternatives and conducting financial impact analyses.
Developing, analyzing, and calibrating executive and broad-based incentive plan designs that support business strategies.
• Performing industry and financial research.
Participating in client meetings and working sessions.
• Broadening your understanding of our client solutions, and the digital platforms and AI applications reshaping our industry.
• Contributing to sales and marketing efforts by assisting with industry team business development.
• Contributing to WTW’s external visibility through intellectual capital generation, drafting articles, and other contributions.

### Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

Role Requirements:
Education: Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in a business-oriented field or any other major with significant quantitative coursework.
GPA: Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
Experience: Classroom or work experience that demonstrates strong analytical and client service skills (e.g., internships/part-time jobs involving quantitative and qualitative data analysis).
Interest: Demonstrated interest in Rewards and Compensation through work experiences, coursework, research assignments, etc.
Problem-Solving: Passion for solving problems and sharing solutions to exceed client standards.
Work Ethic: Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, but also cooperatively in a close team environment.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with colleagues at all levels.
Technical Skills: Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
Location: This is a hybrid position that requires you to be local and able to commute to our New York City offices.
Work Authorization: Able to work legally in the United States indefinitely and without Visa sponsorship.
Graduation Window: Accepting applications from candidates that graduate with a bachelor’s degree between December 2026 through June 2027.

### Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: The hourly rate being offered for this role is $28.50/hr – $30/hr USD. This role is also eligible for overtime.
