About the Job

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking a Windows System Administrator to support the overall day-to-day operations and management of the MS Windows based enterprise environment. This position will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

• Maintaining Active Directory, database servers, application servers, web servers, DHCP and DNS, NAS and SAN, and backup systems
• Ensuring that security updates and patches are current
• Creating, managing, and maintaining group policies, user accounts, security groups, and distribution lists
• Configuring desktops and servers to meet security requirements
• Creating and maintaining server configuration documentation
• Creating and maintaining Windows sys admin processes and procedures
• Backing up and restoring, as necessary, all network data
• Ensuring disaster recovery processes and procedures are accurate and current and are complied with
• Monitoring server capacity
• Managing and maintaining servers, to include performance tuning
• Installing, managing, and maintaining server based applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
• Completion of 8570 IAT II certification I.E. Security+
• Experience with the following IT disciplines:
• Windows, Linux and/or Unix
• hardware and software systems
• software development
• application development
• data management
• cybersecurity
• network administration
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Strong ability to work efficiently within a team environment
• Understanding of the Agile processes

Security Clearance

This position requires an active Secret clearance.
