WiFi Quality Engineer
Join the Sensing and Connectivity team at Apple!
We’re looking for a passionate and highly technical WiFi Quality Engineer to help us deliver the best wireless connectivity experience to our customers. You will be a key player in ensuring the quality of WiFi features across our entire Apple ecosystem, including iOS, tvOS, and other exciting products.
What you’ll do:
• Join a dynamic quality assurance team responsible for functional and performance validation of WiFi (and other Wireless technologies) features.
• Contribute to delivering a detailed connectivity user experience to our customers.
• Craft test strategies using various test methodologies.
• Build test setups, automate test frameworks, and develop test plans to guarantee the highest quality in WiFi connectivity.
What you’ll need:
• 1-2 years of experience with 802.11 protocols and/or Bluetooth.
• 1-2 years of experience in SQA methodologies and practices.
• Expertise in developing and executing test strategies with automation or manual testing.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python preferred).
• Experience utilizing tools like Wireless and Bluetooth packet sniffers and network protocol analyzers for troubleshooting and debugging.
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively with multi-functional teams.
• Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the best experience for our customers.
Bonus points if you have:
• Experience with Wi-Fi.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
