Wellness Intern – Her Campus

Her Campus Media is seeking a highly motivated, creative, efficient, organized, and detail-oriented Wellness Intern for a summer remote internship. This role offers significant responsibility and meaningful, skill-building tasks, designed to enhance your understanding of editorial processes, develop new skills, and prepare you for future career opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the editorial team with various editorial tasks.
• Write and edit relevant wellness articles.
• Contribute to larger editorial projects and packages.
• Conduct interviews with talent and expert sources.
• Create and optimize SEO and e-commerce content.
• Undertake timely writing assignments for the Mental Health, Sex & Relationships, Health, and Wellness sections, as well as astrology and more.
• Work effectively under tight deadlines and turnarounds.

Qualifications

Successful interns at Her Campus Media possess the following attributes and qualifications:

• Current college undergraduate student.
• Strong communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills.
• Working knowledge of all Google for Work tools.
• Demonstrated hardworking, detail-oriented, efficient, and creative work ethic.
• Passionate about the Her Campus mission.
• A passion for all things Gen Z.
• Comfortable writing about sensitive topics including mental health, relationships, sexual health and pleasure, and general wellness.
• Interest in writing, editing, research, college trends, and project management.
• An interest in creating content relevant to the wellness vertical.

Additional Information

• Location: Remote (applicants must be located in the United States).
• Availability: Year-round, full-time or part-time basis.
• Compensation: Unpaid; offered for school credit.
• Hours: Flexible.
