Job Description: Wellness Intern
• Job Title: Wellness Intern
• Department: Editorial Team
• Location: Remote
• Availability: Fall (year-round internships available)
• Compensation: Paid a stipend; requires academic credit.
• Role Summary: Her Campus is seeking a creative, efficient, organized, and detail-oriented Wellness Intern. This role involves assisting the editorial team with various tasks, with a significant emphasis on writing, editing, and content creation within the wellness vertical.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting the editorial team with all things editorial-related.
• Writing and editing relevant wellness articles.
• Working on larger editorial projects and packages.
• Interviewing talent and expert sources for content.
• Creating and optimizing SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and e-commerce content.
• Completing timely writing assignments for sections including Mental Health, Sex & Relationships, Health, and Wellness.
• Working efficiently and effectively to meet tight deadlines and turnarounds.
• Taking on high-level tasks and significant responsibility.
• Qualifications:
• Must be a current college undergraduate.
• Possesses strong communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills.
• Has a working knowledge of all Google for Work tools.
• Demonstrates a hardworking, detail-oriented, efficient, and creative work ethic.
• Passionate about the Her Campus mission.
• Has a passion for all things Gen Z.
• Comfortable writing about sensitive topics such as mental health, relationships, sexual health and pleasure, and general wellness.
• Shows interest in writing, editing, research, college trends, and project management.
• Has an interest in creating content relevant to the wellness vertical.
