Website Intern Description
The Asia Foundation’s Global Communications department is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Website Intern to support our website administration. Reporting to the senior web manager, the intern will be responsible for maintaining and updating our current website and providing support as we develop a new one.
This role offers a valuable opportunity for someone looking to develop skills in website management, content strategy, and utilize their technical skills.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to requests for website updates via email and Teams.
• Edit text for career posts, publications, and staff profiles following the style guide.
• Post content to the website and review posts by other team members.
• Perform text and image updates on pages and posts as requested.
• Transfer images from the WordPress media library or Amazon Web Services to the Brand folder data asset management system.
• Other duties as assigned.
Currently pursuings:
• Working towards a degree in digital media, web development, UI/UX design, computer science, or a related field.
• Intermediate technical and administrative skills.
• Proficiency in WordPress.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to ask questions and seek clarification when needed.
Details:
• Flexible hours, part-time (25-35 hours per week) with flexibility to accommodate school schedules.
• Two days per week in the office required (hybrid position).
• 6-month contract.
• $25 per hour with benefits eligibility.
