Web Production Intern | Golden Hippo
The Tone:
This is an internship at Golden Hippo, located in Woodland Hills, CA, with a hybrid work model. The company is an employee-owned, vertically-integrated builder of health and wellness brands that generate over $1 billion in annual revenue. This role is crucial for supporting the web production efforts across these brands, contributing to the creation of best-in-class products that make the world healthier and happier.
The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid)
• Pay: $17–$20 hourly
• Team: Supports Design engineers, Visual Designers, In-House Development Team, and Digital Acquisition Marketers.
• Mission: To ensure timely and quality execution of web edits and builds, mainly supporting promotional launches and page creations on branded sites.
• Tech Stack: WordPress, Elementor, Divi site builder, Figma, HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Builder.io framework, Javascript.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Web Production: Support the production of promotional launches and page builds/edits across branded websites.
• Design & Development: Produce and design web landing pages, emails, banners, and online marketing campaigns.
• UI Implementation: Translate UI features and experiences from visual designers into web implementations from concept to launch.
• Site Building: Build out promos, pages, and site edits based on designs provided in Figma.
• Ticket Resolution: Resolve low-priority backlog development and web tickets as delegated by Design Engineers.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or equivalent. Early career level with core domain knowledge in web production, web graphics production, and graphic design.
• Experience: 1 year of WordPress production, web graphics production, and graphic design experience. 1 year of experience designing interfaces for mobile and desktop. Experience building web pages in Elementor.
• Skills: Basic HTML and CSS, web graphics compression and page optimization, knowledge of web production in WordPress and Elementor. Soft skills: Great attitude, collaborative spirit, openness to feedback, outstanding communication, attention to detail.
• Bonus: Experience designing high-fidelity graphic assets in Photoshop and Figma. Knowledge of Builder.io framework. Web Design or Graphic Design experience. Basic Javascript knowledge. 1 year of experience building and maintaining WordPress websites with various plugins.
