Web Designer Intern – Vivacity Tech

This is an unpaid, fully remote internship opportunity for college credit. You’ll be working closely with an international software development team to design applications for Vivacity Tech. The internship is 14 weeks long, requiring 20 hours per week.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Managing your development tasks and sprint workflow: You’ll utilize Monday.com to stay organized and on track.
Modifying existing web designs in Figma: You’ll have the opportunity to enhance existing designs.
Creating new web designs in Figma: You’ll be challenged to bring fresh ideas to the table.
Working closely with a mentor: You’ll receive guidance and support to develop your skills.
Gaining professional experience in web design: You’ll gain real-world experience in a dynamic and impactful setting.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

Experience with design software like Figma.
Expertise in designing responsive and mobile-friendly websites.
A solid understanding of web design principles: layout, typography, color theory.
Experience with front-end development frameworks: Bootstrap, Foundation, or Materialize.
Strong attention to detail and an eye for visually pleasing designs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

• Have a high school diploma.
• Are currently enrolled in a technical field of study.
