Job Description:

This is an internship within Morgan Stanley’s global wealth management division, designed to provide a limited-duration (maximum ten months) introduction to the field. The role focuses on developing business, financial, and analytical skills relevant to a career in wealth management and financial services.

Responsibilities:

• Gaining in-depth knowledge of the organization and the wealth management industry through daily tasks and assignments.
• Developing essential business, financial, and analytical competencies.
• Providing marketing and sales support to branch offices and their teams.
• Conducting market research.
• Gaining firsthand experience with wealth management products, services, and client financial needs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma (a college degree in progress is preferred).
• Minimum age of 18.
• A strong interest in furthering one’s understanding of the global wealth management industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
• Teamwork abilities.
• Robust analytical skills and the capacity to interpret data.

Compensation:

The starting hourly pay is $18, but the final base pay will be determined individually. The total compensation package may include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and Morgan Stanley-sponsored benefits.
