Job Description:
This role is an internship position, intended for a limited duration with a maximum of ten months.
Responsibilities:
• Gain Industry and Organizational Knowledge: Acquire understanding of the global wealth management industry and Morgan Stanley’s organizational structure through daily business interactions and job assignments.
• Develop Core Skills: Cultivate essential business, financial, and analytical skills necessary for a career in global wealth management and financial services.
• Provide Marketing and Sales Support: Offer assistance to branches and their teams in marketing and sales activities.
• Perform Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, conditions, and opportunities.
• Gain Exposure to Wealth Management: Learn about the wealth management business, including its products, services, and how to address clients’ financial needs.
Requirements:
• Education: A high school diploma is required, and being in pursuit of a college degree is preferable.
• Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Duration: The internship is for a limited duration, with a maximum period of ten months.
• Motivation: Possess a strong desire to deepen understanding of the global wealth management business.
• Communication Skills: Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical capabilities and the ability to interpret information.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is $17.95 per hour. The successful candidate may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award or participation in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may include a discretionary bonus component.
