Warehouse Manager | IAQ Champs

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at IAQ Champs, located in Ridgewood, Queens. IAQ Champs provides services related to indoor air quality, which relies heavily on precise management of equipment and materials to support various job sites. This role is critical for leading all warehouse operations, including daily distribution, accurate inventory control, and seamless logistics processes. You will be instrumental in driving process improvements, optimizing systems, and fostering a safe, productive environment that directly impacts the company’s service delivery and operational efficiency.

• Mission: Owns the seamless flow of materials and equipment, from procurement and inventory management to distribution and site preparation, ensuring operational efficiency and job site readiness.
• Tech Stack: Internal applications and trackers

What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordinate operations: Oversee and implement daily warehouse activities and operational procedures.
• Prepare for jobs: Ensure job site readiness and team efficiency by staging equipment and materials for subsequent day’s projects.
• Manage inventory: Source, procure, forecast, track, and maintain proper inventory levels of all necessary materials.
• Process orders and deliveries: Create, distribute, and verify purchase orders, confirm accurate pricing against packing slips, and deliver parts to job sites as needed.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles: Review, track, and assist with service adjustments and upkeep for equipment, while ensuring company vehicles are well-equipped and legally compliant.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager-level position overseeing warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory control.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability in managing materials, coordinating distribution activities, and ensuring operational preparedness for job sites.
• Skills: Possession of a valid driver’s license, capability to lift and carry over 50 lbs, and basic computer knowledge.
• Bonus: Fluency in Spanish, prior experience in an HVAC or related field supply house with knowledge of components and supply chain logistics, and certification to operate a forklift.
