Visuals Intern Job Description
Highsnobiety is searching for a detail-oriented, creative, and motivated Visuals Intern to assist their Visuals Director and the broader editorial team. This internship focuses on collaborating with the global editorial visuals team to create captivating stories for Highsnobiety’s magazine, website, and social media platforms.
Your Mission:
• Assist the Visuals Department: Help choose photographers and conceptualize exciting photo stories for the magazine and website.
• Support the Visuals Director: Print and maintain the file archive of editorial shoots.
• Web Production Assistance: Watermark images, update credits, and create file folders for talent and external partners.
• Photography Potential: Contribute to front-of-book social and print stories.
• Production Assistant: Support as a production assistant on NYC-based shoots.
• Photo Research: Conduct photo research for various editorial stories (digital and print).
• Administrative Tasks: Process and organize invoices for the editorial creative department.
• Studio Maintenance: Maintain the New York HQ studio (equipment, props, lighting, camera gear, etc.).
Your Skills:
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Keen eye for engaging visuals.
• Strong understanding of Highsnobiety’s brand and values.
• Passionate about popular culture, particularly fashion, music, and other elements of Highsnobiety’s landscape.
• Currently enrolled in a university program related to journalism, design, marketing, communication, or similar, or a recent graduate.
• Must be local to NYC and authorized to work in the US at least 3 days a week.
• Previous experience in similar internships is a plus.
