Job Description: Visuals Intern
Highsnobiety is seeking a highly motivated and creative Visuals Intern to assist their Visuals Director and the broader editorial team. This internship will offer you the opportunity to work alongside a global team of visual creatives, executing stunning stories for Highsnobiety’s magazine, website, and social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Visuals Department in choosing photographers and conceptualizing captivating photo stories for both print and online publications.
• Collaborate with the Visuals Director to maintain and organize the editorial shoot archive.
• Contribute to web production tasks, including watermarking images, updating image credits, and creating file folders for talent and external partners.
• Potentially contribute to photography for social and print stories.
• Provide support as a production assistant on shoots based in New York City.
• Conduct photo research for various editorial stories, both digital and print.
• Perform administrative tasks for the editorial creative department, including processing and organizing invoices.
• Maintain the New York headquarters studio, ensuring proper upkeep of equipment, props, and lighting.
Required Skills:
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A keen eye for engaging visuals.
• A strong understanding of Highsnobiety’s brand identity and target audience.
• Deep knowledge of contemporary fashion, music, and other relevant cultural trends.
• Currently enrolled in a university program related to journalism, design, marketing, communication, or a similar field, or a recent graduate.
• Must be based in New York City and legally authorized to work in the US for at least 3 days per week.
• Prior experience and internships in similar fields are a plus.
