About MVPR
MVPR is a public relations firm headquartered in New York City with an additional Los Angeles showroom. They service a vast international client roster, including brands based in New York, Milan, Paris, Sydney, Bangkok, Copenhagen, and other global locations.
MVPR is committed to delivering culturally relevant and creative solutions across various communication channels, including Celebrity, VIP, Influencer, and Editorial communications. Their approach involves custom strategy ideation and execution. The VIP and Editorial departments collaborate closely to cement brand awareness, positioning, and their clients’ narrative, always with a results and sales-driven approach.
About the VIP Internship Position
MVPR is seeking detail-oriented, enthusiastic interns to join their growing team.
Job Type: Internship (School Credit available)
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Has a passion for fashion.
• Is interested in the VIP & Influencer sector of PR.
• Is up to date with digital trends and social media.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment.
• Has no problem running around LA.
Purpose of the Internship:
• To support the team on day-to-day tasks and larger scale projects.
• To help the intern understand the full scope of agency and client work.
Key Responsibilities/Tasks:
• Assist with stylist appointments, celebrity, and influencer giftings.
• Monitoring press placements via social media and digital platforms.
• Maintain and update databases of influencers, editors, and stylists.
• Organize and maintain sample showroom collections.
• Pick up and drop off stylists loan requests.
• Research surrounding seasonable trends, industry news, etc.
• Assist with the creation of monthly client reports.
• Learn how to create and execute celebrity and influencer gifting campaigns.
Requirements:
• Must be available to work in the office at least 3 days per week.
• Must be based in the Los Angeles area.
• Minimum 3-month requirement.
• Available to start as soon as possible, preferable.
• Experience in the fashion industry is preferred.
