What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Structuring: Develop and implement transaction structures tailored to meet the specific needs of clients including corporates, asset managers, and insurance companies.
• Client Engagement: Prepare insightful pitch materials and presentations for client meetings, collaborating with relationship managers to communicate structured solutions.
• Transaction Execution: Lead the end-to-end execution of transactions, including preparing term sheets, negotiating credit agreements, and coordinating documentation with legal counsel.
• Internal Approvals: Drive the internal business and credit approval process by preparing credit applications and transaction memos for senior management.
• Post-Closing Management: Oversee and manage transactions post-closing, monitoring compliance with credit terms and managing modifications or restructuring requests.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An undergraduate degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in structured finance, credit solutions, or a similar role in the financial services industry.
• Experience: Direct experience working on and executing financing transactions.
• Skills: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; strong analytical abilities; ability to learn, handle multiple assignments, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Bonus: Advanced degree (MS, MBA, CPA, CFA, or JD); knowledge of credit agreement negotiation, legal documentation, and risk management.
