What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Drive complex financial analysis and modeling efforts for various engagements.
• Mentor: Oversee and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional development.
• Present: Prepare and deliver compelling client presentations for strategic advisory engagements.
• Manage: Handle day-to-day client relationships with confidence and professionalism.
• Coordinate: Partner closely with senior bankers to coordinate transaction execution and strategic advisory engagements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum Bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for a focus in finance, business, accounting, economics, or mathematics. This is a Manager-level role, assuming significant levels of responsibility.
• Experience: Extensive professional experience in Investment Banking, specifically within corporate finance/M&A, restructuring, or capital markets, or an equivalent field. Demonstrated experience in managing complex transactions and leading workstreams is required.
• Skills: Possess excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and presentation skills. Exhibit strong knowledge of accounting and financial concepts, including the ability to analyze and value businesses and capital structures in complex situations. Demonstrate a sophisticated level of interpersonal skill and leadership presence, with the ability to interact confidently with senior internal stakeholders and client executives. Proven leadership skills are essential for effectively managing and mentoring junior professionals. Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and advanced financial modeling capabilities are a must, alongside strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
