Veterinary Student Externship Experience

- Utilize various diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Experience aspects of dentistry services.
- Observe, assist, or potentially perform surgical procedures (as appropriate for student level).
- Contribute to the medical management of patients.
- Develop and practice essential communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients.
Program Details:
- Duration: Experiences typically range from two to eight weeks, flexible based on student and hospital schedules.
- Target Audience (Sandwich Veterinary Hospital): Specifically designed for 3rd and 4th-year veterinary students.
