What You’ll Actually Do
• Welcoming Clients: Provide a warm and empathetic welcome to clients, assisting with their needs and knowing their names and reasons for visits.
• Communication Management: Efficiently manage all phone communications, including promptly answering calls, triaging urgent matters, and documenting conversations in medical records.
• Appointment Scheduling: Accurately schedule, confirm, and track patient appointments, including reminder calls and forward booking future visits.
• Record Keeping: Maintain precise medical records by recording all client interactions, messages, patient updates, and managing inbound/outbound record requests.
• Financial Transactions: Execute all financial transactions, including collecting payments, assisting with CareCredit applications, and reconciling daily financial reports.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates should possess a strong foundation in customer service and a genuine interest in animal welfare.
• Experience: No specific years of required experience are stated; prior exposure to a veterinary setting is beneficial.
• Skills: Demonstrable customer service, effective communication, reliability, adaptability, and the ability to obtain a Washington State Medical Clerk License.
