Job Description:
Murrysville Veterinary Associates offers externships to 3rd and 4th year veterinary students.
Externship Details:
• Duration: Externships typically range from two to eight weeks, based on student and hospital schedules.
• Responsibilities: Students will work closely with a supervising veterinarian to gain experience in:
• Gathering patient histories
• Performing physical exams
• Creating treatment plans
• Performing diagnostics
• Providing dentistry services
• Observing, assisting with, or performing surgical procedures
• Medical management of patients
• Skills Development: Externs will have the opportunity to:
• Practice and refine their clinical skills.
• Enhance their communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients.
• Eligibility: Externships are offered to 3rd and 4th-year veterinary students.
