About Lindale Veterinary Clinic

Lindale Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, full-service small and large animal veterinary hospital, providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. We have been serving our clients’ needs since 1997 at our current location. We are proud to join less than 15% of practices in being AAHA accredited!

Our veterinarians and staff have extensive experience in many areas of pet care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.

• A well-stocked pharmacy
• An in-hospital surgery suite
• In-house X-ray capabilities
• A closely supervised hospitalization area
• Indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas

Position Purpose: Veterinary Extern

Come extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners’ Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help them be ‘practice ready’ by their first day in practice.

Externship Program Details:

• Typical Duration: Externships are typically 2 weeks long.
• Lodging: Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.
• Flexibility: Length of externship is flexible.
• Preceptorship: We can support your preceptorship documentation as well.

Requirements/Qualifications

Eligibility:

• Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School.
• Must be able to provide student PLIT.
