What began as a small practice has evolved into an 8,600 square foot facility with two full-time doctors offering a wide range of services, including routine wellness care, state-of-the-art diagnostics, surgery, cancer care, and laser therapy. Job description:
This is an externship opportunity for veterinary students through Heartland Veterinary Partners’ Externship Program. The program aims to equip students with hands-on experience and mentorship to become “practice ready” upon graduation.
Key details:
• Hands-on Experience and Mentorship: The program focuses on practical skills and guidance from experienced professionals.
• Externship Duration: Typically 2 weeks long, but flexibility is available.
• Lodging: Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.
• Preceptorship Documentation: The program can support students in completing their preceptorship documentation.
• Eligibility:
• Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
• Must be able to provide student PLIT
