The Tone:
This is an early career, rotational role at Vertiv, located in Westerville, Ohio. Vertiv solves important challenges for data centers, communication networks, and commercial and industrial facilities with a portfolio of power, cooling, and IT infrastructure solutions and services. Vertiv employs approximately 34,000 people globally and operates in more than 130 countries. This program is designed to develop new industry talent into future finance leaders by providing exposure to multiple business facets, professional support, and opportunities to apply for critical roles within the Global Finance team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop financial expertise: Engage in three one-year rotations across diverse financial disciplines such as Manufacturing Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, and Internal Audit.
• Drive key financial tasks: Own critical responsibilities within roles covering External Reporting, Investor Relations, and Operational Accounting.
• Cultivate leadership capabilities: Benefit from professional development, networking opportunities, and guidance from a pre-designated mentor to prepare for future finance leadership roles.
• Contribute to business understanding: Immerse deeply in various aspects of the Finance function, acquiring a comprehensive understanding of the discipline within a global organization.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Science in Business with a specialization in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting; early-career level.
• Experience: Minimum of one relevant internship and/or one year of experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Skills: Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management, and financial software applications; Strong analytical skills or ability to organize and digest large sets of data with minimal instruction; Ability to develop and articulate general strategies and detailed operation plans.
• Bonus: Minimum GPA of 3.0; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
