Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage in hands-on tasks, providing direct support to the test engineering team with routine engineering duties.
  • Independently manage and execute daily projects, showcasing strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
  • Rapidly build and expand your technical experience, becoming proficient with our state-of-the-art shop and laboratory equipment.
  • Assist significantly in the verification and validation of new or improved designs, tools, fixtures, and material handling equipment, and help coordinate their effective implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with experienced engineers to complete critical process documentation, develop test plans, generate comprehensive test reports, and more.
  • Meticulously review project instructions and drawings to fully understand test specifications, procedures, objectives, and equipment requirements, contributing valuable insights to design for manufacturing (DFM).
  • Set up and conduct rigorous tests of units and components, ensuring all aspects meet our stringent high standards under expert guidance.
  • Thoroughly analyze test results to confirm alignment with design and test objectives, making necessary equipment adjustments for optimal performance.
  • Document all test procedures, detailed results, numerical and graphical data, and provide thoughtful recommendations for both product and test method improvements.
  • Assist in creating comprehensive documentation necessary to maintain our advanced, state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Must be actively enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possession of basic technical experience coupled with a strong eagerness to learn and expand technical skills.
  • A proactive and curious mindset, ready to contribute meaningfully and learn extensively in a real-world engineering environment.
  • A strong collaborative spirit, eager to work effectively alongside a team of passionate engineers.
