UX/UI Design Intern – Summer 2025
About the Team and Role
The Product Design Intern will support the Global Product & Design organization, focusing on the user experience for the WBD video streaming product Max. This involves understanding the industry, existing paradigms, and creating innovative solutions. The intern will work with stakeholders from product, marketing, technology, analytics, research, customer service, and other teams to provide user-facing solutions that create a seamless, engaging, and enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities:
• Design product experiences across various platforms.
• Work within an existing design system, exploring opportunities to expand it.
• Develop, present, and advocate for your work.
• Collaborate closely with design leads, taking and acting upon feedback.
• Adapt to fast-paced processes.
Currently pursuings:
• Currently enrolled as a student (proof of enrollment required).
• Rising junior, senior, or graduate student.
• Good academic standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA).
• Knowledge of wireframing, prototyping, user flows, user research, ideation, and brainstorming.
• Understanding of design principles and user-centered design processes.
• Strong visual design skills, demonstrated through a portfolio.
• Logical and systematic thinking.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to describe proposed use cases and interactions.
• Comfort with designing user interfaces using Figma.
• Passion for ideation, collaboration, iteration, and feedback.
• Empathy for customers who use the product.
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
