Overview:
The internship is designed for motivated and creative individuals, specifically students or recent graduates, who are seeking real-world UI/UX design experience in a startup environment. Interns will work on meaningful projects, contribute to their portfolio, and learn directly from experienced designers and product leaders. Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):
The intern will be involved in various aspects of the UX design process, including:
• Conducting user research and assisting in the interpretation of feedback to enhance user experience.
• Designing various visual artifacts such as wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Collaborating actively with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and development.
• Maintaining design documentation and contributing to the development and adherence to design system standards.
• Participating in design critiques, iterating on feedback received, and developing their design thinking skills.
• Supporting the creation of case studies, product design write-ups, and internal reports.
• Staying informed about current industry trends, best practices for accessibility, and common UX patterns.

Required Qualifications and Skills (What You’ll Bring):
Candidates should possess:
• 0.5 to 1 year of prior experience in UI/UX design, gained either through academic coursework or project-based work.
• Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related academic program.
• Proficiency in design tools, specifically Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• A strong foundational understanding of core design principles, usability, and human-centered design methodologies.
• A professional portfolio that effectively showcases design projects and illustrates the candidate’s design process thinking.
Bonus Skills (Not Required but a Plus):
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
• Knowledge of design systems, accessibility guidelines, and slide storytelling tools.
• Excellent communication skills, a strong ability to collaborate effectively with others, and keen attention to detail.
