Position Overview

RKube Inc, a client of Dice, is seeking an experienced UX Designer to join their team. This individual contributor role focuses on conceptualizing and designing internal mobile and web applications aimed at improving employee experiences. The UX Designer will be involved in the entire design process, from discovery sessions to low and high-fidelity wireframe design, and the creation of development assets and interface specifications. A key responsibility will be ensuring that all created assets align with established brand standards.

About the Team

The team develops internal mobile applications to enhance employee experiences. They value candidates with experience in wireframing, Figma, and Adobe products. Experience working collaboratively with diverse professionals, such as developers, and effectively translating information between different groups is also highly desired.

Role Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the design of software components.
• Translate requirements into visual designs and interactive solutions.
• Interact and communicate effectively with teammates, project stakeholders, and senior management.
• Analyze project requirements to identify user roles and specific use cases.
• Create flow charts, low-fidelity wireframes, and high-fidelity design compositions.
• Present, justify, and propose design solutions to achieve a shared understanding across teams.
• Work closely with visual designers, content strategists, product managers, and development teams.
• Partner with the development team to create intuitive user interfaces for mobile devices and web-based applications.
• Understand accessibility requirements for web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with the marketing team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored digital user experiences.
• Provide advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyze and predict user behavior.
• Adhere to style standards on typography and graphic design.

Other Requirements

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience: Proven UX design experience for digital products or services (2+ years).
• Portfolio: A professional UX design portfolio demonstrating work for both web and mobile platforms.
• Technical Skills: Working knowledge of the following technologies and software:
  • Figma
  • Sketch
  • HTML
  • CSS (SCSS)
  • iOS
  • Android
  • Design Systems
  • Adobe Creative Suite
• Soft Skills:
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
