UX Designer | RKube Inc

The Tone:
This is an individual contributor role for RKube Inc, a client of Dice, for which the location is not specified, with applications managed through Dice. RKube Inc builds internal mobile and web applications designed to enhance employee experiences. This role is critical for conceptualizing and designing these applications, ensuring a seamless user experience from discovery to final development assets, all while maintaining brand consistency.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Actively participate in the design of software components from discovery sessions to creation of development assets.
• Translate: Convert project requirements into intuitive visual designs and interactive solutions for mobile and web applications.
• Develop: Create flow charts, low-fidelity wireframes, and high-fidelity design compositions that align with brand standards.
• Collaborate: Partner with development teams to create intuitive user interfaces and work with marketing to deliver tailored digital experiences.
• Present: Justify and propose design solutions to teammates, project stakeholders, and senior management for shared understanding.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A bachelor’s degree in a related field, demonstrating proven UX design experience for digital products or services.
• Experience: At least 2 years of UX design experience for digital products or services, including a professional portfolio showcasing work for both web and mobile platforms.
• Skills: Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Bonus: Experience working collaboratively with diverse professionals, such as developers, and effectively translating information between groups. Understanding of accessibility requirements for web and mobile platforms.
