UX Design Intern Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Create Concepts from Scratch: Develop original concepts that address human problems or needs.
• Align with Team Goals: Ensure individual goals are aligned with team objectives and the overall vision and mission of the company.
• Promote Best Practices: Advocate for incorporating best-practice UX principles into project roadmaps.
• Improve Customer Experience: Identify and share actionable improvements to enhance the customer experience within Volkswagen Group.
• Secure Intellectual Property: Protect intellectual property and develop roadmaps with a focus on the automotive industry.

Qualifications:

• Conceptual Thinking: Possess strong conceptual thinking skills.
• UX Research: Demonstrate excellent knowledge of UX research methodologies.
• Vehicle Interrelationships: Have a broad understanding of the full interrelationships within a vehicle.
• Software Proficiency: Be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, and Flutter.

This internship is a full-time, hybrid position located in Belmont, CA, and offers a competitive hourly rate of $35 – $42.
