### About the Job: US Consumer Services (USCS) Summer Internship

This is a summer internship role within American Express’s US Consumer Services (USCS) team.

Business Unit/Team Specifics:
The US Consumer Services (USCS) team is responsible for managing American Express’s extensive portfolio of consumer products, services, and experiences across the U.S. This includes:
• Premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending products.
• The Membership Rewards program.
• Global Travel & Lifestyle Services.
• The Centurion Lounge network.
• Global Dining and Resy businesses.
• Various outstanding marketing programs.

The core strategy of the USCS team is to cultivate a strong premium Card business, distinguished by Membership, which connects Card Members to experiences and things they value most.

Impact of the Role:
As a summer intern, your specific responsibilities will vary depending on the team you are placed with. However, the role broadly focuses on contributing to key business areas. You will have the opportunity to:
Assist in the management of product and marketing strategy.
Analyze data to identify and propose growth opportunities, aiming to enhance business performance and drive growth.
• Gain an understanding of business functions and explore how new and emerging digital products or services can best serve the company.
Build and track performance indicators to deepen insights into customer behavior.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to assess the feasibility of new opportunities.
Develop relationships with various internal and external partners.
Share best practices and offer consultancy to your team.
Manage end-to-end marketing initiatives or other customer-focused projects, including developing and implementing tests to measure their effectiveness.
Identify innovative ways to improve the customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be eligible for this internship, candidates must:
• Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
• Have an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.

Ideal candidates will possess:
• A strong passion for customer marketing, product management, payments innovation, travel and dining industries, and new technology trends.
• The ability to conceptualize and effectively “sell” ideas.
• An independent thinking style, coupled with being organized, having excellent attention to detail, and the capacity to multi-task.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
• A willingness to take risks and share fresh perspectives.
Proficiency with analytical and presentation tools, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary Range: $24.05 to $63.00 hourly, plus a sign-on bonus. The final pay will consider location, experience, and other job-related factors.
