About the Opportunity:

Join our dynamic team of mission-driven young people from across the United States in a flexible, remote unpaid internship or volunteer role. This is a unique opportunity to amplify youth civic engagement and actively participate in activism on critical progressive and social justice issues. You will collaborate with like-minded peers, strengthen democracy, and drive change within your community.

Key Responsibilities & Curriculum:

• Work collaboratively in teams on grassroots activism and advocacy related to civic and social justice issues.
• Conduct research to deepen understanding and awareness of these topics.
• Join and actively support existing voter registration drives at your school.
• Initiate and successfully perform your own peer-to-peer or drive-based voter registration efforts (with school permission) if no existing drive is present.
• Participate in various civic actions and voter turnout projects.
• Engage in targeted outreach, advocacy, and activism.
• Discover and participate in volunteer opportunities collectively.
• Attend the exclusive TurnUp Speaker Series, featuring world-renowned speakers.
• Conduct civic and activism-related research and writing tasks.
• Collaborate on a variety of tasks, communicate regularly, and meet virtually on a weekly basis.
• Advocate for issues important to young people, fight voter suppression, and boost youth voter turnout in the United States.
