Job Description:
This is an undergraduate placement scheme (internship) for a second-year student on an industrial placement year, returning to studies in Autumn 2026. The internship begins in June 2025 and requires an on-site presence four days a week. The role focuses on assisting Disney’s media engineering team in supporting and developing its media asset management and content supply chain systems.
Responsibilities:
• Technical Support: Logging, tracking, and resolving issues reported by end-users of Disney’s media management systems. Collaborating with third-party support teams to troubleshoot and resolve technology problems. Updating relevant documentation.
• Administrative and Organizational Tasks: Performing a range of technical, administrative, and organizational tasks to support Disney’s extensive media networks and direct-to-consumer platforms internationally.
• Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues within Disney’s media management systems. Working with external support teams to rectify technical difficulties.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Eligibility: Must be a second-year undergraduate student on an industrial placement year, returning to study in Autumn 2026. Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Essential Skills: Strong attention to detail; ability to work well under pressure; professional and mature communication skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; strong MS Office skills; interest in media, engineering, or broadcasting.
• Desired Attributes (Potential): Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively; drive results; think strategically; inspire creativity and innovation; exhibit professional excellence.
