Job Description: Undergraduate Intern – CINT User Program Support
MPA-CINT at Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking an undergraduate intern to support its CINT User Program at the Gateway. This is an on-site position in Los Alamos, NM, though some work-from-home flexibility may be considered.
Responsibilities:
The intern will assist with creative outreach efforts and provide administrative support to CINT staff and users. Specific duties include:
• Creating distinctive outreach materials in collaboration with staff.
• Contributing to the smooth day-to-day operations of the CINT User Program.
• Assisting with event planning (desired qualification).
• Working with web content management systems (desired qualification).
Requirements:
• Minimum Qualifications:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and work on multiple projects simultaneously. A detail-oriented and proactive team player.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premier Pro, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Google Suite.
• Experience in a customer service environment.
• Enrollment in an undergraduate program (Communications, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or related field) with a GPA of 2.75 or above.
• Desired Qualifications:
• Experience in event planning.
• Experience with web content management systems.
Restrictions:
Due to federal regulations (National Defense Authorization Act), citizens of China, Iran, North Korea, and Russia who are not lawful permanent residents (green card holders) are ineligible for this position. Additionally, U.S. citizens are subject to a favorable suitability decision by the NNSA (National Nuclear Security Administration).
