Job Description: Undergraduate Engineering Co-op

This co-op program offers students opportunities to contribute to projects with significant strategic and operational importance within the company. Projects are tailored to student abilities and current business needs. Responsibilities may include:

Process Improvement: Partnering with leadership to identify and address areas for improvement in efficiency, benchmarking against industry best practices, becoming a process owner, critically reviewing processes, and proactively recommending improvements.
Technical Skills: Utilizing specialized equipment and instrumentation accurately and independently.
Tool & Model Development: Developing tools and models to enhance tracking and efficiency.
Continuous Improvement Methodologies: Learning and applying continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., PPI, Six Sigma) and promoting improvement initiatives.
Collaboration: Working collaboratively with various departments, including program management, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and finance, to achieve business objectives.

Compensation and Relocation:

The co-op offers an hourly rate between $21.50 – $28.75, dependent on location and cost of living. A $5,000 relocation stipend is available for students located 50+ miles from the co-op’s physical location.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate student pursuing an Engineering-related degree.
• 0 years of work experience (prior internships are preferred).
• Consistent demonstration of integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.
• Ability to champion change, achieve results, and navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship (F-1, J-1, H-1, OPT, and CPT visas are not accepted for this position).
