The TL;DR

• Pay: $17–$20 hourly
• Mission: Ensure a safe and secure environment by actively patrolling, managing access points, and effectively responding to incidents.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Patrol: Regularly patrol assigned areas to deter potential criminal activity and ensure safety compliance within the premises.
• Manage Access Points: Oversee entry and exit points, including verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to Incidents: Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, or disturbances, and accurately report findings to the relevant authorities as required.
• Support Visitors and Employees: Assist and provide support to visitors and employees, contributing to a welcoming and secure atmosphere for everyone.
• Maintain Logs: Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for management and law enforcement purposes if necessary.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma/GED; A valid Tennessee Security Guard License; A Guard Card (Unarmed or Armed).
• Experience: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
• Skills: Ability to bend, stoop, lift, walk long distances, and run if necessary; Vigilance and keen observational skills; Ability to pass a background check and a drug test.
• Bonus: Previous security experience; CPR/First Aid/AED Certification.
