Job Description: UGC (User-Generated Content) Intern

Ape is seeking a UGC (User-Generated Content) Intern to significantly enhance its online presence. The primary goal of this role is to help grow Ape’s reach across major short-form video platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The intern will be the “creative engine” responsible for producing content that deeply resonates with retail traders, emphasizing speed, humor, and cultural relevance. This internship has the potential to evolve into a full-time role for a successful candidate.

Responsibilities:

Content Ideation and Production: Generate and create short-form videos, typically 15–60 seconds in length, ensuring they align with Ape’s distinctive brand voice.
Trend Adaptation: Actively monitor and quickly adapt finance, meme, and general online trends specifically for TikTok and Instagram.
Content Repurposing: Efficiently repurpose content across various social media platforms to maximize reach.
Performance Optimization: Collaborate closely with the marketing team to conduct A/B tests on different content formats and strategies, with the ultimate goal of driving app installs.

Qualifications:

Platform Native: Possess a deep understanding and innate familiarity with TikTok and Instagram culture, indicating extensive personal use of these platforms.
Strong Editing Skills: Proficiency in video editing software such as CapCut, Premiere, or similar tools.
Camera Comfort/Faceless Content: Either comfortable appearing in front of the camera or skilled at producing engaging faceless content.
Interest in Markets: A genuine interest in trading, financial markets, or meme culture is required, with a strong bonus for those actively participating in WallStreetBets or finance-related TikTok communities.
Speed and Efficiency: Demonstrated ability to produce content rapidly, recognizing that speed is crucial for trend-driven content.

Application Requirements:

As a mandatory part of the application process, candidates must create one short-form video, between 15–30 seconds in length, that they believe would perform exceptionally well for Ape.

Topic Suggestions: The video should focus on themes such as the stock market, trading culture, finance memes, or any topic deemed to have high virality potential.
Style: The content should be TikTok-native in style, prioritizing humor, educational value, or being trend-driven.
Deliverable: Applicants are required to post this video as a private TikTok or an unlisted YouTube link and share it with Ape.

Important Note: If selected for the role, the applicant will be paid for this video as part of the hiring process.
