Junior Trust & Safety Investigator | Turo
The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at Turo, located in Phoenix, Arizona, United States, requiring in-office work on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Turo operates the world’s largest car sharing marketplace, connecting a vibrant community of trusted car hosts and guests. This role is critical for ensuring the safety and security of the Turo community and marketplace by supporting and executing processes to investigate and resolve risk-related cases.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Proudly support the Trust & Safety team for escalations from customer support, claims, leadership, and law enforcement.
• Manage: Independently manage and prioritize assigned caseload from start to finish with excellent follow-through.
• Investigate: Assist the investigations team in conducting detailed investigations and executing the appropriate strategy for each case type.
• Collect: Collect information, documentation, and evidence associated with investigations.
• Communicate: Communicate case developments to the investigations team and management to drive continuous improvement.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Bachelor’s Degree or work equivalent required. Core domain knowledge in investigations, Trust and Safety, Loss Prevention, Fraud, or Risk Management is desired.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in Investigations, Trust and Safety, Loss Prevention, Fraud or Risk Management desired, but not required.
• Skills: Superb communication, interpersonal, and investigative skills; commitment to high responsiveness and availability; strong ability to prioritize; ability to quickly adapt to new technology and systems.
• Bonus: Experience with Kustomer, CRM systems, Google Docs, and MS Office; Mac expertise; a positive mental attitude, high energy, high integrity, strong work ethic, enthusiasm, sense of humor, and a commitment to the mission.
