Pay Rate: $32.97/hr.

Program Dates: June 1, 2026 – June 25, 2027 (13 months)

Work Hours:

  • 15 – 20 hours per week
  • Minimum 15 hours in Enstar’s NYC office (midtown) per week
  • 20 hours per week during the summer period

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our Treasury department as an Intern. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience within a leading global (re)insurance group, directly assisting the Group Treasurer and the wider Treasury team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Treasury Intern, you will be involved in a variety of tasks crucial to the efficient operation of our Treasury function, including:

  • Develop a foundational understanding of key accounting practices and the intricacies of the reinsurance industry.
  • Assist with the preparation of projections and dashboards for intercompany loans and letters of credit.
  • Support the organization and coordination of events for the Treasury team.
  • Participate in the management of bank accounts, including conducting monthly bank reconciliations and preparing related reports.
  • Assist in confirming Foreign Exchange (FX) transactions and processing letter of credit fee invoices.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of Excel and Kyriba dashboards and reports.
  • Organize and maintain digital files and folders for the department.
  • Attend various bank meetings alongside the Treasury team, gaining valuable exposure.
  • Undertake other duties as reasonably required by the Company from time to time.

What You Will Bring

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Ability to commit to working 15-20 hours/week from June 2026 to June 2027, with at least 15 of those hours in Enstar’s midtown NYC offices.
  • Currently pursuing an Undergraduate Major in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Must have completed your junior year of college by the internship start date.
  • Previous internship experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong numerical aptitude coupled with excellent financial data analysis skills.
  • Highly organized and possesses a meticulous attention to detail.
