The internship is structured to combine practical experience with theoretical education:
• Dual Approach: Interns split their day between working on a trading desk and participating in a classroom setting.
• On the Trading Desk: Interns are fully embedded within a trading desk, working directly alongside an experienced trader who serves as a mentor. This provides hands-on learning and practical application of trading concepts.
• Classroom Education: Interns receive industry-leading training in options theory and decision science. This education is delivered by traders who are fully dedicated to trader development.
• Quantitative Focus: Students with a STEM background are encouraged to apply, as they will learn how to leverage their quantitative skills to understand Susquehanna’s application of game theory, decision science, and cutting-edge technology in making trading decisions.
What Susquehanna is Looking For:
The ideal candidate for this internship will possess:
• Academic Standing: Intention to graduate with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and be available to begin full-time employment by August 2027.
• Core Skills: Exceptional quantitative, logical reasoning, and analytical skills are essential.
• Technical Proficiency: General computer skills are required, and computer programming skills are a significant plus.
• Interests: A demonstrated interest in strategic games and/or competitive activities is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits for Interns:

• Base Salary: Interns receive a $5,500 weekly base salary for the duration of the ten-week program.
