The Trading Internship at Susquehanna offers a distinctive and comprehensive opportunity for aspiring quantitative traders. The program is meticulously designed to provide interns with a deep exposure to trading, helping them determine if a career in this field aligns with their long-term goals.

Dual-Track Learning: Interns split their time between:
Working on a Trading Desk: Interns are fully embedded within a trading desk, working directly alongside an experienced trader who serves as a mentor. This hands-on experience provides practical insights into daily trading operations.
Classroom Education: Interns receive industry-leading training in fundamental concepts such as options theory and decision science. This educational component is delivered by traders fully dedicated to trader development, ensuring high-quality, relevant instruction. Students with a STEM background are particularly encouraged to leverage their quantitative skills to learn how Susquehanna applies advanced methodologies like game theory and decision science to trading.

What Susquehanna is Looking For (Requirements):

Academic Intent: Intention to graduate with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and be prepared to begin full-time employment by August 2027.
Core Skills: Demonstrably exceptional quantitative, logical reasoning, and analytical skills.
Technical Proficiency: General computer skills are required; computer programming skills are a significant plus.
Personal Attributes: A demonstrated interest in strategic games and/or competitive activities is highly valued. Candidates must also possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
